Supreme Court (Term) Rules

1.

These Rules maybe cited as the Supreme Court (Term) Rules.

2.

(1)Notwithstanding section 4 of the Seychelles Code of Civil Procedure, there shall be 3 terms in each year for civil business in the Supreme Court—
(a)10th January to 31st March;
(b)1st of May to 31st July; and
(c)15th September to 10th December.
(2)
(a)If the day for the start of a term falls on a dies non the term shall commence on the next following day which is not itself a dies non.
(b)If the day for the end of a term falls on a dies non the term shall end on the next preceding day which is not itself a dies non.
