[1] On 27 March, 2017, the Respondent appeared in court and informed the court that he is not objecting to the court making order revoking his appointment as the liquidator of Orchid Holidays Limited. The court on the said day made order revoking the appointment of Respondent as the liquidator of Orchid Holidays Limited in terms of the petition. The court adjourned the matter in relation to the appointment of a new liquidator of Select Seychelles owned by Orchid Holidays Limited.
[2] Upon the application of counsel for Petitioner, the court appoints S Palani & Co Chartered Accountants of Providence, Mahe, as the liquidator of Orchid Holidays Limited together with all the powers as provided under section 119 of the Insolvency Act, 2003, and especially in respect to paying the debt of Orchid Holidays (Proprietary) Limited to the creditors or making alternative arrangements as is practicable in order to satisfy as fully as is possible debts of Orchid Holidays (Proprietary) Limited to the creditors.
[3] The court orders accordingly with costs.
