SENTENCE

Burhan J

[1]                I have considered the plea in mitigation made by learned counsel for the 2nd and 4th accused.  I have also considered the age of the 2nd accused and the fact that she has already been detained for a period of 14 days.  I have considered the fact that accused No. 4 is already serving a term in respect of another offence.

[2]               I therefore proceed to sentence them as follows; I sentence the 2nd and 4th accused to a term of 3 months imprisonment suspended for a period of 2 years.

[3]                I also proceed to fine the 2nd accused a sum of SR1,500, payment to be made in 2  months time and I will not impose a fine on the 4th accused because she a serving a term of imprisonment.  The 2nd accused is to pay the fine of SR 1,500 by 30th September 2016.

[4]               Nature of suspended term of imprisonment explained to the 2nd and 4th accused.
