In exercise of the powers conferred by section 41(4) of the Central Bank of Seychelles Act, 2004, the Central Bank, in consultation with the Minister responsible for finance, makes the following notice—

1. Citation

This notice may be cited as the Central Bank (Purchasable Aggregate Value of Government Securities) Notice, 2021.

2. Maximum aggregate value of treasury bills or Government security purchasable or acquirable

The aggregate value of the treasury bills or other securities issued or guaranteed by Government, that may be purchased or acquired by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 2021, shall not, at any time, exceed SCR750 million.MADE this 22nd day of April, 2021.Caroline AbelGovernor
